Are you looking to join the Midwood Argus staff?
The first step to becoming a Midwood Argus staff member is to take Midwood’s Journalism course. Students in this course study news writing techniques and write the majority of the articles for the Argus.
These journalism students may then apply at the end of the year to become Argus staff members during their senior year. The Argus staff assembles and designs the physical edition of the paper. The positions of Photographer and Graphic Artist / Illustrator are also available to non-journalism students as long as they have experience in these fields.
All Midwood students are welcome to submit letters to the editor, artwork, or photography for the Argus. Non-journalism students may submit articles for possible publication, but it is recommended that you visit Mr. Levinson in Room 343 first to learn more about the style and standards of news writing.
